Raymond G. Hecker

Raymond G. Hecker, 81, of Caseyville, IL, born Mar. 23, 1929 in Mascoutah, IL, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.


Ray was a retired self-employed structural engineer, and a U. S. Marine Corps Korean War veteran.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Erna, nee LaQuet, Hecker; and a brother, George Hecker.


He is survived by two sons and a daughter, Michael (Janet) Hecker of Plano, TX, Douglas Hecker of San Diego, CA, and Jeanne (Brett) Maes of Red Bud, IL; five grandchildren, Danielle, Bradley, and Francesca Hecker, and Blake and Grant Maes; a brother, Lyle (Betty) Hecker of California; and sister, June (Donald) Van Horn of Florida; nieces and nephews.


Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.


Visitation: Friends may call from 1 to 3 PM Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.


Funeral: A memorial service will be held 3 PM Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011 at the Moll Funeral Home with Father Allen Maes officiating. Burial will be in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
