Lola M. Colburn

Lola M. Colburn, 79, of Mascoutah, IL, born Feb. 19, 1931 in Humboldt, KS, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville, IL.


Lola was a homemaker.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Colburn who died in July of 1995, a son, Todd Colburn, her parents, Rufus H. and Victoria B., nee Van Nice, Crawford, two sisters, Yvonne Crawford and Elizabeth Rettmann, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Alvin Rettmann, Joan Crawford, Gordon and Mary Ann Colburn.


She is survived by a daughter, Kimberly (Nick) Dickhaut of Mascoutah, IL; two grandchildren, Trevor and Paige Dickhaut; three brothers, Richard Crawford of Riverside, CA, Floyd (Bobbie) Crawford of Wichita, KS and Joe (Carol) Crawford of Reno, NV; a sister, Neva (Charles) Stout of Wichita, KS; also survived by nieces and nephews.


Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to charity of donor’s choice.


Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8:00 PM Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.


Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, Dec. 27, 2010 at the Moll Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Feldmann officiating. Burial will be in National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
