Kay Lynn Riess

Kay Lynn Riess, nee Coleman, 57, of Mascoutah, IL, born Dec. 30, 1952 in Austin, TX, died Thursday, Mar. 4, 2010 at her residence.


Kay was a supervisor for Merry Maids Service in O’Fallon, IL, and prior to that she was a beautician at Donna Mae’s Hair Salon in Mascoutah.


She is survived by her husband, Mark S. Riess, whom she married in Mascoutah, IL on Sept. 28, 1974; a daughter, Clarissa Lynn Riess of Dallas, TX; parents, J. C. and Martha J., nee Underwood, Coleman of Mascoutah, IL; a brother, George (Vivian) Coleman of Mascoutah, IL; two nephews and a niece, Dustin Coleman of Florida, and Nicholas and Haley Coleman of Mascoutah, IL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Kathy Riess of Mascoutah, IL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Paul Riess, Deanne Riess, Theresa (Dale) Friederich, Larry (Betzy) Riess, and Michael (Linda) Riess; and other nieces and nephews.


In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, Inc., 305 S. Illinois St., Belleville, IL 62220.


Visitation: there will be no visitation.


Funeral: private burial will be held Saturday, Mar. 6, 2010 in the Mascoutah City Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
