Robert “Bob” Linck, 81, of Belleville, IL, born July 19, 1928 in Mascoutah, IL, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009 at Four Fountains Convalescent Center in Belleville, IL.
Bob was a service manager for Auffenburg Ford in Belleville, IL for 35 years, and a Korean War Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin H. and Amelia M., nee Schaefer, Linck; five brothers, Ralph, Edgar, Elmer, Edwin “Woots”, and one in infancy; a sister, Wilma Linck in infancy; and a stepson, Charles Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Ottilie “Tillie”, nee Hollweg, Linck whom he married in Las Vegas, NV on Sept. 20, 1999; three stepchildren, James Jones of Greensboro, NC, Teresa (Robert) Hobson of Blythe, GA, and Barb (Dennis) Starrett of Lenzburg, IL; six step-grandchildren; four sisters, Violet Hund of Lebanon, IL, Arlene Lang of Venedy, IL, Delores Hobbs of Mascoutah, IL, and June (Vincent) Birkner of Lakeland, FL; sisters-in-law, Carol Linck and Dorothy Linck; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, or to Heartland Hospice.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.
Funeral: Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 2009 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
