Gertrude F. Moll

Gertrude F. Moll, 80, of Mascoutah, IL, born April 10, 1929 in Belleville, IL, died Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at the MarKa Nursing Home in Mascoutah, IL.


Gertrude was a homemaker and a member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmet G. L., and Bertha G., nee Middendorf, Moll; a stepmother, Josephine, nee Lenzini, Middendorf Moll; three brothers, Daniel, Lawrence, and Thomas Moll; a sister, Ann Biekert; a brother-in-law, John Biekert; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Moll and Faye Middendorf.


She is survived by a sister, Margie (Dick) Sax of Mascoutah, IL; a brother, George Ralph (Pam) Middendorf of Fenton, MO; two sisters-in-law, Helen Moll and Freda Moll of Mascoutah, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.


Memorials may be made to Holy Childhood Ethiopia Fund, or Holy Childhood Memorial Improvement Fund, or Heartland Hospice.


Visitation: friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday, May 20, 2009 and from 7:30 to 9:30 AM Thursday, May 21, 2009 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL. A prayer service will be held at 5 pm Wednesday.


Funeral: a funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2009 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church with Msgr. Jerome Hartlein officiating. Burial will be in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery in Mascoutah.
