James E. Dickson, 61, of Belleville, IL, born June 15, 1947 in East St. Louis, IL, died Monday, Mar. 30, 2009 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville.
Jim worked as a carman for Norfolk & Southern Railroad for 33 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James P. and Cinderella, nee Linnemann, Dickson.
He is survived by his wife, Karen R., nee Bramstedt, Dickson whom he married in Mascoutah, IL on Nov. 7, 1970; two sons, Kelly James (fiancé Tiffany) Dickson of Shiloh, IL, and Justin Ryan (fiancé Lisa) Dickson of Sigonella, Italy; mother-in-law, Elma Bramstedt of Mascoutah, IL; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Visitation: There will be no visitation.
Funeral: Private services will be held at a later date.
