Selma Fay Heinke

Selma Faye Heinke, 83, born in Carlyle, Illinois, died Wednesday, Apr. 16, 2008.


She was a retired regular Army officer and a student of theology with a BA, MTh, and PhdTh degrees.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Richard and Alma, nee Martin, Heinke; and her siblings, Irma Knobeloch, Fred, Weldon, Norman Heinke, and twin sister Alma Stewart.


She takes with her the memory of her friends, the ashes of her beloved pups, and the understanding that this life is to be continued.


A family service will be held at a later date.
