Sheila M. Brand

Sheila M. Brand, nee Sexton, 50, of Mascoutah, IL, born Aug. 5, 1957 in Detroit, MI, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Belleville, IL.


Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, Elwin C. “Buddy” Brand, Jr., a son, Timothy C. Brand, her parents, Edward F. and Marie Louise, nee Dryden, Sexton.


She is survived by her granddaughter, Emma Marie Brand, three brothers, Stephen (Nancy) Sexton, Daniel (Barb) Sexton, Christopher (Dolores) Sexton, three sisters, Maureen (David) McCuddy, Martha Atley, Mary Elizabeth “Liz” (Dave) Stallings, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Elwin Carl and Judy Brand, Sr., sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carla Casky, Robert (Karolyn) Brand, and Dennis (Barbara) Brand, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.


Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.


Visitation: Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2008 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah, IL.


Funeral: A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2008 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church with Msgr. Jerome Hartlein officiating. Burial will be in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
