Helen C. Griffin

Helen C. Griffin, 96, of Mascoutah, IL, born Feb. 1, 1911 in Bartlesville, OK, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007 at the Grange Nursing Home.


Helen was a homemaker.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Blanche Rumbaugh and her husband, Coleman A. Griffin, whom she married in Pittsburgh, PA and who died January 4, 1988 and a son, Coleman C. Griffin.


She is survived by a daughter, Helen (Milford “Bud”) Burton of Mascoutah, IL, her grandchildren, Clifford (Tammy) Burton and Wayne (Sandy) Wilhelm, her great-grandchildren, Trisha, Danielle, Samantha, Nicki and Kelli and her great-great- grandchildren, Austin, Peyton and Zaih’Kiyra.


Helen’s wishes were to be cremated and her cremains buried in Calvary Cemetery in Pittsburgh, PA.


Memorial services will be held at a later date.
