Virgil Smith, Jr., 82, of Mascoutah, IL, born Nov. 5, 1929 in Beaver Falls, PA, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 at the Assisted Living Facility at Silver Creek in Mascoutah, IL.
Virgil was a retired MSgt from the U. S. Air Force as an X-ray technician.
He was a Korean War and Vietnam War veteran; and a member of SGI-USA.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Edward, Sr. and Mary, nee Callaway, Smith; and his wife, Kisayo H., nee Horino, Smith who died on Oct. 30, 2004.
Virgil is survived by numerous friends.
Visitation:
There will be no visitation.
Funeral
:
memorial services will be held from 10 AM to 12 PM Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at 4315 Willow Oak Lane, Smithton, IL.
