Laura Elizabeth White

Laura Elizabeth White, 35, of Mascoutah, IL, born Apr. 14, 1977 at Scott Air Force Base, IL, died Jan. 10, 2013 at her residence.

Laura was a clerk for Eckert’s Grocery in Belleville, IL; member of St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah, IL; and a 1995 graduate of Mascoutah Community High School.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Delbert and Martha, nee Middendorf, White; and her great-grandfather, Edward Middendorf.

She is survived by her mother, Sylvia, nee White, Cotter of Belleville, IL; two aunts and an uncle, Leilani Cameron-Kelly of Belleville, IL, Steven (Janet) White of Belleville, IL, and Angela (K. Christopher) Kemper of St. Louis, MO; cousins; friends; other family; and godparents, Rob and Kate.

Memorials may be made to Relay for Life; or to Mascoutah Animal Hospital Stray Dog and Cat Fund.

Visitation: A gathering of family and friends will be from 10 AM to 12 noon on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at the Moll Funeral Home, Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral: A Celebration of Life service will be held 12 noon Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at the funeral home with the Rev. Hugh Fitz officiating. Laura’s wishes were to be cremated and a private burial to be in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
