Jeffrey Oliver Etling

Jeffrey Oliver Etling, 58, of Hillsboro, IL, formerly of Mascoutah, IL, born Aug. 5, 1954 in Belleville, IL, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at the Hillsboro Rehab and Health Care Center in Hillsboro, IL.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver J. W. “Smiley” and Beatrice, nee Knemeyer, Etling; and his first wife, Sally, nee Menees, Etling.

Surviving is his second wife, Cathy, nee Taylor, Etling of Summerfield, IL; two daughters, Toni and Brittney; two brothers, Dennis Etling of Belleville, IL, and Terry (Lynn) Etling of Springfield, IL; a niece, Nicole Etling of Clayton, MO; a nephew, Richard (Debbie) Smith of Millstadt, IL; an aunt and several cousins.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.


Visitation: Visitation is from 4 to 8 PM, Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at Moll Funeral Home with the Rev. Hugh Fitz officiating. Burial will be in Mascoutah City Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
