Frank C. Basse

Frank Charles Basse, 68, of Aviston, IL, born Mar. 21, 1944 in Belleville, IL, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Breese, IL.

Frank was a contractor splicer for a telephone company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene F. and Mary Fern, nee Isom, Basse; his wife, Constance, nee Brown, Basse, two sisters, Betty McCutcheon, and Patricia Huffendick; and two brothers, James and Paul Basse.

He is survived by seven children, Emily Duncan of St. Louis, MO, Mary (Jason) Greenleaf of Sidney, ME, Betty Neer of Belleville, IL, Patricia Basse of Granite City, IL, Renee Jeffrey of Breese, IL, Eugene (Stacey) Basse of Tilden, IL, and Mark Basse of Chester, IL; eleven grandchildren; a brother, Robert “Sonny” Basse of Waterloo, IL.


Visitation: There will be no visitation or funeral services.

Funeral: Private graveside services will be held in Miller Cemetery, Venedy, IL.
