Pauline E Dressler

Pauline E. Dressler, 92 of St. Libory, born Jan. 15, 1921 in St. Libory, IL, died Saturday, June 15, 2013 surrounded by her family.


She was a homemaker; a lifelong member of St. Liborius Catholic Church, St. Libory; charter and 56 year member of Daughter of Isabelle Ava Maria 980 Prayer Circle; St. Liborius C.C.W.; Women of the Moose Chapter 392, Mascoutah; St. Libory American Legion Auxiliary.


She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Cecelia, nee Wesselmann, Kalkhoff, her husband, Allen B. Dressler whom she married in St. Libory, IL on Feb. 10, 1943 and who died Jan. 22, 2001, a son, James C. Dressler, two grandchildren, Kelsey Jo Dressler and Howard Allen Williams and three sisters, Loretta Kalkhoff in infancy, Genevieve Chott and Cecile Terveer.


Surviving are her children, Allen A. (Glenda) Dressler of St. Libory, IL, Alvin (Rosie) Dressler of Freeburg, IL, Dennis (Donna) Dressler of St. Libory, IL, Paul Dressler (Anna Beever) of St. Libory, IL, Charles (Lisa) Dressler of St. Libory, IL, Gerard “Jerry” (Cindy) Dressler of St. Libory, IL; daughters, Elizabeth “Beth” (Arthur) Arenas of Waterloo, IL, Marian (Butch) Williams of Freeburg, IL; daughter-in-law, Debbie Buss of St. Libory, IL; grandchildren, Cheryl Cahnovsky, Douglas Dressler, Carrie Cox, Tracy Dressler, Julie Murphy, Todd Dressler, Dale Dressler Dawn Reuter, Derek Dressler, Deanne Ross, Jason Dressler, Tina Crockett, Nicholas Dressler, Haley Dressler, Jaime Finck, Scott Dressler, Katie Feder, Amanda Diefenbach, Eric Dressler, Andrea Rable, Alexandra Donley, Abbey Arenas, Evan Arenas, Amy Dressler, Emily Williams and Natalie Williams; 27 great-grandchildren; sister, Clara (Victor) Albers of St. Libory, IL; brother-in-law, Irvin Terveer of St. Libory, IL; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation: Friends may call from 3:30 to 8 PM Monday, June 17, 2013 at the St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory, IL and Tuesday, June 18 from 8 to 8:45 AM at the church. A recitation of the rosary will be held at 3:30 PM Monday at the church.


Funeral: A funeral Mass will be held 9 AM Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory with Rev. Dennis Voss officiating. Burial will follow in St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery, St. Libory, IL.
