Randall S Funk

Randall S. Funk, 50, of New Baden, IL, born Jan. 19, 1963 in East St. Louis, IL, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013 at his residence.


Randall was a truck driver, a reverend and auctioneer.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Jane, nee Bullard, Funk and a brother, Jeffrey Funk.


He is survived by his biological mother and step-father, Litha (Jim) Thorson of Marion, IL; wife, Karen, nee Theis, Funk of Granite City, IL; two sisters, Paula Kelly of St. Louis, MO, Lynn Kandansky of Braidwood, IL; brother, Brian (Stephanie) Thorson of Reddick, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 at Zion United Church of Christ, New Baden, IL with Rev. Gretchen Sterrett officiating.
