Larry D. Calvert, 77, of Mascoutah, IL, born Jan. 6, 1938 in Robinson, IL, died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at his residence.
Larry worked as a carpenter and most recently for Jerry Smalling in Belleville before his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse E. and Kathryn B., nee Hale, Calvert; and a son, Jesse D. Calvert.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine E., nee Wehrheim, Calvert whom he married in Olney, IL on Nov. 9, 1957; a daughter, Becky (Darren) Santel of New Memphis, IL; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Kinkaid of Newburg, IN, and Kathryn (Raymond) Friend of Pittsburgh, TX.
Memorials may be made to Siteman Cancer Center, 7425 Forsyth Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63105-2161 Condolences can be sent to the family by visiting mollfuneralhome.com.
Visitation : There will be no visitation.
Funeral : a graveside service will be held 11 AM Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Mascoutah City Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL with Rev. Charlie McGee officiating. Burial will follow.
