Albert L. Worms, Jr.

Albert L. Worms, Jr., 90, of Mascoutah, IL, born Dec. 25, 1925, in Mascoutah, IL, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland, IL.

He formerly owned and operated Al Worms, Jr. Horse Trailer Sales in Mascoutah; he was a member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah; and a WW II Army veteran.

Al is preceded in death by his parents, Albert, Sr. and Viola, nee Eckert, Worms; and a son, Thomas Worms.

He is survived by his wife, Penny L., nee Allen, Worms, whom he married in Fairview Heights, IL on March, 23, 1992; two sons, Richard (Laura) Worms of Kansas City, MO, and Gene (Gail) Worms of Mascoutah, IL; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Worms of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation: There will be no visitation.

Funeral: A memorial Mass will be held 10 AM Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016 at Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah with Father Paul Wienhoff officiating. A private burial will be held in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
