Larry L. Faitz

Larry L. Faitz, 71, of Mascoutah, IL, born Jan. 30, 1946 in Summerfield, IL, died Friday, Sept. 1, 2017 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

He was a retired truck driver from Holtgrave Distributing.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Leona, nee Joellenbeck, Faitz Suemnicht; his father, Paul Faitz; and stepfather, Harold Suemnicht.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy, nee Mamino, Faitz whom he married in Mascoutah, IL on Nov. 22, 1986; a daughter, Kristy Faitz of Lee Summit, MO; a son, Larry (Cheryl) Faitz of Kansas City, MO; two grandchildren, Lauren and Andrew Faitz; three stepchildren, Kim (Dave) Showalter of Mascoutah, IL, Susan (Bret) Rasch of Mascoutah, IL, and David (Anne) Heilig of Chesterfield, MO; seven step-grandchildren, B J (Megan) Rasch, Josh (Kayla) Johnson, Kyle (Alysha) Rasch, Samantha (Jacob) Blaylock, Zach (Erin) Rasch, Brittany Rasch, and Maddie Heilig; nine step-great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Landon, Addison, Tatum, Cooper, and Dominic Rasch, Coby, Cohen, and Isabella Blaylock; a sister, Jane (Dave) Derickson of O’Fallon, IL; their son, Jeff, and his sons, Pierce, Tate, and Dev; and other nephews.

Funeral: A Celebration of Life service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017 at Pavilion #3 in Scheve Park, Mascoutah, IL.
