Carla Ann Caskey

   Carla Ann Caskey, nee Brand, 69, of Mascoutah, IL born May 12, 1955, in Portland, OR died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024, at her home. 

   Carla was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, collecting rocks, and spending time with her grandchildren.

   She is preceded in death by her parents, Elwin “Carl” and Judy Ann, nee Amie, Brand, a brother, Elwin “Buddy” Brand, a nephew, Timothy Brand.

   She is survived by three children, Amie Messerly (fiancé Andrew), Jeffrey Hicks, Stephanie Hicks (Matthew Stangle); five grandchildren, Faith (Tyler) Shifflet, Orion Messerly, Bailey Shaw, Blain Stangle, Kyra Thomas; four great grandchildren, Miles, MaCenzie, Dawson, and Destinee; two brothers, Robert (Karolyn) Brand and Dennis Brand.
