Carol Ann Haas

Carol Ann Haas, nee Wilmsmeyer, 76, of Belleville, IL, born March 12, 1945 in Mascoutah, IL died Friday, Dec. 17, 2021 at her home.

Carol was a retired director of the former American Redemption Systems in Mascoutah.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert E. “Jack” Wilmsmeyer and Bernice I., nee Gramm, Wilmsmeyer Dakin and a grandson, David Haas.

Carol is survived by her husband, Gene D. Haas whom she married in Mascoutah, IL on June 21, 1969; her children, Shelley (Darren) Rutmanis of Freeburg, IL, Patrick Haas (Josie) of O’Fallon, IL; grandchildren, Hunter, McKenzie and McKenna Haas, Aubrey and Chance Rutmanis; two great grandchildren; and brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Funeral :  There will be a Celebration of Life at the Mascoutah Visitor Center from 1 to 4 PM Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022 with a Memorial Service at 2 PM .
