Carol J. Wood, nee Miller, 72, of Summerfield, IL, born Aug. 31, 1949, in Leon, IA died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2022, at her home.
Carol was a retired accountant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Laura, nee Robbins, Miller and a brother, Dale Miller.
Surviving are her husband, John R. Wood, Sr.; two sons, John R. (Kimberly) Wood, Jr. of Dayton, OH, Lance (Kacie) Wood of Cuba, MO; five grandchildren, Mary (Matt) Huber, Jarod Wood, Eli, Carson, Alexandria Wood; two great grandchildren, Finnegan and Declan Huber; sister, Vickie Gillespie of Summerfield, IL; brother, Craig (Rhonda) Fleming of Des Moines, IA; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting mollfuneralhome.com.
Visitation: There will be no visitation or services.
