Charles L. Buss, 86, of St. Libory, IL, born July 20, 1938, in St. Libory, IL died Monday April 28, 2025, at St. Louis University Hospital.
Charles was a retired truck driver and farmer. He was a member of St. Liborius Catholic Church. Charles enjoyed NASCAR, Indy Racing, and watching baseball, especially the Cardinals and Cubs.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vincent L. and Anna E., nee Albers, Buss; seven siblings, Diane Buss, Joseph Buss, Adele (John) Finder, Vernon Buss, Ralph (Patricia) Buss, Dennis Buss, and Margaret Trentman, sister-in-law, Marie Marie Triefenbach, son-in-law, Michael Thies.
Charles is survived by his wife, Debra L., nee Wiskamp, Buss; eight children, Kathleen (David) Goetting, Karla Williams, Kurtiss (Raven) Buss, Jaime Finck, Scott (Jamie) Dressler, Katie Feder, Amanda (Andy) Diefenbach, Eric (Clara) Dressler; 23 grandchildren, Tommy, Mary (Brent), Grace (James), Cody, Nathan, Noah, Ethan, Ashlynn, Keaton, Kallie, McKenna, Connor, Logan, Taylor, Morgan, Parker, Cooper, Rachel, Blake, Ava, Alyse, Joseph, Lance; three great grandchildren, Ellie, Emma, and Nolan; three brothers, Fred (Shirley), Melvin, and Larry Buss; sister-in-law, Carma Buss; three brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: From 4 to 8 PM Friday, May 2, 2025, and from 9 to 10 AM Saturday, May 3, 2025, at St. Liborius Catholic Church, St. Libory, IL 62282.
FUNERAL: A funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Saturday, May 3, 2025, at St. Liborius Catholic Church with Father Mark Stec celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery, St. Libory, IL.
