Danny Deane Pope

Danny Deane Pope, 69, of Shiloh, IL, born Jan. 10, 1956, in Tulare, CA, died Friday, June 13, 2025, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Danny was a retired MSgt. from the U. S. Air Force and a veteran of Desert Storm.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Deane Lee and Cora Louise, nee Carner, Pope, his stepfather, Orvil Pfister, and his daughter, Heidi Manasco.

Danny is survived by his daughter, Sondra (Stuart) Smith; grandchildren, Maycie (Joel) Juenger, Abbie (Nick) Manasco, Kortney Manasco, Maddy (Will) Odegaard, Jaden (Laney) Smith, Lucas (Paige) Manasco, Jonah Smith, Alex Manasco, Landon Manasco, Clayton Goolsby, Emrie Goolsby, Ian Goolsby, Hudson Manasco; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Karen (Lon) Brouse, Deanna Burnett, David Pope, Pam (John) Ballard, Kathy (Keith) Marshall; mother of his children, Brenda Byers; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
