Delmer P. Scheurer, 99, of Trenton, IL, born Aug. 31, 1926, in Shiloh Valley Township, IL died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, at The Colonnade Senior Living, O’Fallon, IL.
Delmer was a retired grain farmer. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lebanon, IL, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Farm Bureau. Delmer was a United States Korean War Army veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Elizabeth, nee Landauer, Scheurer, wife, Lucille, nee Poos, Scheurer, who died on April 19, 2012, and a sister, Delores (Loren) Knobeloch.
Delmer is survived by his children, Bob (LaDean) Scheurer, Mary (Eric) Mueth, Cheryl (Allen) Lanter; seven grandchildren, Kay Kay (Cameron) Tighe, Christian Scheurer, Rachael (Martin) Lautenschlaeger, Erin (Zachery) Rasch, Philip Mueth (dear friend Samantha Bollmeier), Melissa (Ian) Blondin, Christina Lanter; eight great-grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Markus, Mavrick, and Raelyn Lautenschlaeger, Eli, Vivian, and Jackson Rasch; also survived by nephews.

Visitation: From 5 to 7 PM Monday, Nov. 10, 2025 and 9 to 10 AM Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.
Funeral: A funeral service with military honors will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, at Moll Funeral Home with Rev. Kim Hagedorn officiating. Burial will follow in College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, IL.
