Dennis C. Waigand, 85, of Belleville, IL born September 27, 1940, in Belleville, IL died Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Aviston Countryside Manor.
Dennis was a retired truck driver for Beelman Truck Co. and JC Hauling. He was member of Local Teamsters 530 and a United States Navy veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur N. and Louise I., nee Reinheimer.
He is survived by three children, Kathleen (Richard) Besse, LorEtta (Jeff) Richter, and Dennis A. (Christina) Waigand; eight grandchildren, Megan (Bryce) Stabile, Justin (Mary) Richter, Jacob (Jessica L.) Richter, Jessica M. Richter, Olivia Waigand, Julianne Hendricks, Paul (Heather) Waigand, Stephen (Sarah) Waigand; 14 great grandchildren, Brylie, Layla, Brylee, Jameson, OakLynn, Sayler, Titan, Cayden, Daxton, Brycen, Matthew, Lizbeth, Elijah, and Lyric.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P. O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908. Condolences may be shared with the family by visiting mollfuneralhome.com.
FUNERAL: A private graveside service will be held in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
