Doris Mae Strawn

Doris Mae Strawn, nee Baldwin, 84, of Smithton, IL, born May 8, 1934 in Springfield, MO died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018 at Integrity Health Care of Smithton.

Doris was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her mom, Fannie Workman; her husband James Raymond Strawn, Sr., who died on Sept. 10, 1989; three sons, Harold Joe, James Strawn, and Richard E. Strawn; three grandsons, Brad Johnson Jr. ”Scooter,” Jeremy Kuklinski, and Jayce Strawn; brothers, Bill and Jess Baldwin; sister Georgia Hurt; and two great great-grandchildren, D’Marcus and Da’shawn Smith.

Surviving are her four children; Ruth Ann Strawn and Tina Strawn of Mt. Vernon, IL, George Strawn of Cahokia, IL, and Arnie Strawn of Fayetteville, IL; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 5 great great-grandchildren; sisters, Judith Moore and Dora Cypara and daughters-in-law, Virginia and Lisa Strawn.
