Edna R. Hite, nee Hancock, 92, of Mascoutah, IL, born Apr. 10, 1933, in Parrot, VA died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at Freeburg Care Center.
Edna was a homemaker who loved raising her six children and taking care of her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Alma, nee Cressell, Hancock, her husband, Donald G. Hite, who died on Dec. 15, 2017.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Douglas) Sibert of Kingwood, TX, Donald (Joann) Hite of Friendswood, TX, Gail Hite (fiancé Ron Renth) of New Baden, IL, Paula (David) Miller of Belleville, IL, Bentley (Sheila) Hite of East Carondelet, IL, Tony (Samantha) Hite of Dublin, VA; 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Opal Furr and Peggy (Ronald) Treadaway both of North Carolina.

Funeral: A funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, at Moll Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:15 AM on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
