Evelyn V. Selph

   Evelyn V. Selph, nee Young, 93, of Mascoutah, IL born Apr. 20, 1932, in Moultrie, GA died Mar. 4, 2026, at Mascoutah Rehab and Nursing.

   Evelyn was a homemaker. She was a member of Autryville Baptist Church in Moultrie, GA and was also active volunteer supporting local churches. She was a loving mom, grandma, great grandma, and sister.

   She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Anna, nee Hall, Young; her husband, Ernest Merle Selph, Sr. whom she married in Moultrie, GA on Feb. 25, 1949, and died on Arp. 27, 2016, a son, Ernest Merle Selph, Jr., a granddaughter, Heather Beyer; a great-granddaughter, Kenadee Moore, sister, Nadine, three brothers, Buddy, Benny, and Donnie.

   Evelyn is survived by four daughters; Gail (Gene) Worms of Mascoutah, IL, Vickie (Richard) Beyer of Wagner, OK, Sheila (Sean) Honer of Mascoutah, IL, and Judy Green of Lebanon, MO; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Faye, Bonnie, Ann, Angie; three brothers, Ronnie, Dennis, Randy; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

   VISITATION: From 11:30 AM to 12 noon on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Mascoutah First Baptist Church.

   FUNERAL: A funeral service will be held at 12 noon Friday, March 6, 2026, at Mascoutah First Baptist Church with Pastor Ronnie Tabor officiating. Private burial will follow in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
