Florence C. Beer, nee Wessling, 96, of Mascoutah, IL, born June 28, 1929, in Germantown, IL died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025, at her home.
Florence was a homemaker, a dairy farm wife, an avid euchre player and loved cutting grass. She was a member of Holy Childhood Catholic, Mascoutah, IL and St. Clair County Farm Bureau.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Anna, nee Ripperda, Wessling, her husband, Clarence B. Beer, whom she married on Oct. 25, 1950, in Germantown, IL and who died on Dec. 11, 1993, a son, Marcel Beer, siblings, Vincent (Eleanor) Wessling, Ray (Loretta) Wessling, Ed (Cecilia) Wessling, Art (Bertha) Wessling, Alvina (John) Schaeffer, and special friends, Venison Meier and Hugo Wilke.
Florence is survived by her son, Marvin (Maria) Beer; daughter-in-law, Donna Beer; two grandchildren, Mark (Sara) Beer, Marvin Dean Beer and significant other, Rachael; three great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Avery, and Luke Beer; brothers-in-law, Walter (Carolyn) Beer, George Beer; also surviving are, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

VISITATION: From 2 to 6 PM Sunday, Dec. 28, 2025, and from 8 to 9:30 AM Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.
FUNERAL: There will be a funeral Mass 10 AM Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, at Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah. Burial will follow in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
