Gregory A. Boynton, 55, of Troy, IL born Nov. 2, 1970, in Murfreesboro, TN died Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, at his home.
Greg was the owner and operator of Boynton Trucking. He was an avid car enthusiast that loved going to the beach and listening to country music.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou, nee Moore, Haley, father-in-law, Jim Truell, and brother, Jimmy Boynton.
He is survived by his wife, Jamie L., nee Truell, Boynton; two children, Hannah and Connor Boynton; a nephew “son,” Christopher (Hope) Boynton; granddaughter, Nova Boynton; two mothers-in-law, Debbie (Robert) Linkey, Barb Truell; two sisters-in-law, Danielle (Mike) James, Shellie (Derek) Cook; brother-in-law, Brandon (fiancé Ryan) Blackston; nephews, Richie and Kyle; nieces, Kaylee (Donovan), Kaitlyn, and Khloe; great niece, Brinley; friend “brother,” Steve Fetcenko; also survived by close friends, Matt, Bob, David, and Bryan.
