Irma E Jesenick

Irma E. Jesenick, nee Klein, 91, of Mascoutah, IL, born July 7, 1934, in Mascoutah, IL, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, IL.

Irma was a homemaker and former bookkeeper for businesses in the Mascoutah area and a member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur J. and Emma C., nee Haas, Klein, her husband, Edward A. Jesenick whom she married in Mascoutah on Dec. 30, 1953, and who died June 21, 2021, three sisters, Lavern Haley, Tootie (Knipper) Knipp, Arlene (Carl) Queen and a brother, Chuck (Shoup) Klein.

Surviving are her children, Gail (Kenneth) Malter, Karen (Eric) Kurkey, Gary Jesenick, Kevin Jesenick; two grandchildren, Lyann Malter and Cory (Sara) Kurkey; two brothers, Butch (Nancy) Klein and Raymond (Alice) Klein; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation: From 4 to 7 PM Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.

Funeral: A funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah with Father Mark Stec celebrating. Burial will follow in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
