James M. Binger, 63, of Freeburg, IL formerly of Mascoutah, IL, born Jan 29, 1963, in Peoria, IL, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2026, at his home.

Jim was a retired truck driver and certified welder.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald P. and Mildred E., nee Jureziz, Binger, uncles and cousin, Tom Binger. 

Surviving is his wife, Donna, nee Poindexter, Binger; a son, Brian Whitesell and fiancé, Shelbie Watts; a sister, Linda Van Wart; a niece, Britaney Herscha; and aunts and cousins.

In lieu of all other gifts, memorials in memory of Jim, may be donated to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 4400 Clayton Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110. Condolences may be shared with the family by visiting mollfuneralhome.com.

VISITATION: From 9:30 to 11 AM Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.

FUNERAL: There will be a funeral service at 11 AM Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, with Father Mark Stec officiating at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah. Burial will follow in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
