Jeanette A Zinck

   Jeanette A. Zinck, nee Fritz, 88, of Mascoutah, IL born Sept. 17, 1936, in Mascoutah, IL, died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Breese, IL. 

   Jeanette was a retired postal worker from the Mascoutah Post Office. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Mascoutah and Mascoutah V.F.W. Auxiliary.

   She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert “Chick” and Dorothy, nee Wlasak, Fritz, her husband, Joseph A. Zinck, Sr. who died July 1, 2003, and twin sisters, Dixie and Diane Fritz, in infancy.

   Jeanette is survived by her daughters, Jody (Brian) Schuff, Jeannine (Linda Miller) Zinck; a son, Joseph A. (Laura) Zinck, Jr.; two grandsons, Gregory (Megan) Zinck, Joshua Zinck; two great granddaughters, Coralee and Lila Zinck; two sisters, Sally Ryan, Kay (Don) Ostrom; a brother, Robert (Ruth) Fritz; in-laws, nieces and nephews.

   FUNERAL: There will be a memorial service 10 AM Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024, at St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah with Rev. Cherie Hambleton officiating, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life in St. John Fellowship Hall.
