Julia V. Burgard

   Julia V. Burgard, nee Littrell, 98, of Mascoutah, IL born Aug. 28, 1928, in Shiloh Valley Twp., IL died Oct. 30, 2026, at Silver Creek Assisted Living in Mascoutah.

   Julia was a retired secretary from Peabody Coal Company. She was a lifelong member of St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah and was involved in various committees with the church.

   She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry T. and Selina M., nee Harding, Littrell, her husband, Clyde L. Burgard, who died on Nov. 4, 2007, two daughters, Deborah Dingledine, Sandra Mancuso, a grandson, Anthony Mancuso, four brothers and three sisters.

   She is survived by four children, Karen Evenson, Kenneth (Donna) Burgard, Dale (Donna) Burgard, David (Yvonne) Burgard; 11 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

   FUNERAL: There will be a funeral service at 11 AM Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026, at St. John United Church of Christ with Pastor Cherie Hambleton officiating. Burial will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL.
