Kenneth Robert Wentz

Kenneth Robert Wentz, 77, of rural St. Libory, IL, born April 16, 1949, died Monday, Aug. 24, 2026, at Fieser Nursing Center, Fenton, MO.

Ken was a retired mechanic from Goodyear Tire, a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Single Action Shooting Society.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward V. and Elsie A., nee Sickmeier, Wentz, a son, James T. Wentz, two brothers, Raymond E. and Jerome R. Wentz, and a sister, Carol A. Roberts.

Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Kim S. Thompson, and a sister, Kathleen J. Wentz, and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Libory Fire Department First Responders.

FUNERAL: There will be a graveside service 1 PM Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, at St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery in St. Libory, IL with Father Mark Stec officiating.
