Kenneth A. Zacharski, 82, of Mascoutah, IL, born March 23, 1943, in Belleville, IL died Saturday, June 28, 2025, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL.
Ken retired as a bank vice-president for Regions Bank in Mascoutah. He was a member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah, Knights of Columbus Council 4380, Mascoutah Evening Lions Club, Chairman of Mascoutah Planning Commission, American Legion Post 292, and a U. S. Army Reserve veteran.
He his preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Johanna, nee Piek, Zacharski, two granddaughters, Jessica and Kelli Uhl, two brothers, Gerald (Carol), and Joseph Zacharski, sister-in-law, Carol Hertich, and a brother-in-law, Charles Hertich.
Ken is survived by his wife, Linda, nee Hertich, Zacharski whom he married in Belleville, IL on Sept. 7, 1964; two sons, Daniel (Karen) Zacharski and Bradley (Lisa) Zacharski; daughter, Wendy (Brian) Uhl; five grandchildren, Abbey, Kinsey, Bronwen, Bram Zacharski, and Anthony Uhl; brother, Ronald (Carole) Zacharski; two sisters, Shirley Meyer and Mary (Bud) Campbell; five sisters-in-law, Jean Zacharski, Charlotte Tierney, Susan Hertich, Cynthia (Robert) Anna, Christi (Craig) Rayburn; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL: A funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah with Father Mark Stec celebrating. Burial will follow in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, IL.
