Marcel O Wilhelm

Marcel O. Wilhelm, 87, of Mascoutah, IL, born Jan. 8, 1936, in Mascoutah, IL, died Thursday, June 15, 2023, at MarKa Nursing Home, Mascoutah, IL.

Marcel was retired from Peerless Premier in Belleville, a member of St. Martin of Tours Lutheran Church, Mascoutah, IL, a U. S. Navy veteran and his favorite pastime was playing Euchre.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph O. and Anne, nee Voegele, Wilhelm; his wife, Eunice, nee Joellenbeck, Wilhelm; seven brothers, Roman, Meinard, Erwin, Ralph, Joseph J., Herbert and Leo Wilhelm; and a sister, Martha Henrichs.

Surviving is a daughter, Rebecca Wilhelm; a son, John Goodall and dear friend, Karen Christensen; two granddaughters, Joellen Wilhelm and Cayce Goodall; three sisters, Sr. Janet Marie Wilhelm, Rose Markwardt, and Ann (Phil) Sherry; numerous nieces and nephews and dear friend to many.
