Michael H Vogel

Michael H. Vogel, 77, of Mascoutah, IL, born May 13, 1948, in Fresno, CA, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL.

Mike was a Jack of All Trades and forever a Marine. He was a member of The Shiloh Church in Shiloh, IL and United States Marine Viet Nam War veteran.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Norma, nee Hayek, Vogel, grandchildren, Willow and James Tomlin, and three brothers, John, Donald, and Harlan Vogel.

Mike is survived by his wife, June, nee Crawford, Vogel; children, Cathryn Kiana, Michael (Dawn) Vogel, Richard (Wendy) Vogel, Courtney (Mac) Munoz, Cassandra (Nathan) Vance-Tomlin; 18 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Daniel Crawford, Elaine (Ernie) Ronspiez and Marilyn Barbian; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
