Norma E. Gill

   Norma E. Gill, nee Kolb, 96, of Belleville, IL, born Jan 24, 1930, in New Memphis, IL, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, at Dammert Care Center, Belleville, IL.

   Norma retired from the Department of Defense as a Communications Tech, retiring in July 1988 after 37 years of service. Norma was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Fairview Heights, IL, National Assoc. of Retired Federal Employees, Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and was formerly a Meals on Wheels carrier.

   She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred C. and Emma M., nee Krausz, Kolb, Jr., her husband, Charles C. Gill, whom she married on Sept. 28, 1957, at St. Peters Lutheran Church in New Memphis, IL and who died on Mar. 23, 2005.

   Surviving are cousins and friends.

   In lieu of all other gifts, memorials in memory of Norma, may be donated to the Belleville Area Humane Society, 1301 S 11th St., Belleville, IL 62226, or BJC Hospice, 2220 S.    VISITATION: From 9:00 to 9:30 AM Monday, Oct. 12, 2026, at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.

   FUNERAL: There will be a funeral service at 9:30 AM Monday, Oct. 12, 2026, with Pastor Doug Nicely officiating at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah. Burial will follow in Mascoutah City Cemetery.
