Patricia J Jost

Patricia (Pat) J. Jost, nee Williams, 84, of Marion, IL born June 27, 1941, in E. St. Louis, IL, died Friday, February 13, 2026, at Herrin Hospital.

Pat was a retired administrative assistant for the Kirkwood School District. She was an avid reader and enjoyed the outdoors. Other hobbies included swimming, horseback riding, gardening, caring for her pets, fostering dogs and cats, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Pat especially will be remembered for her kindness and compassion that served to strengthen everyone she met.

Pat is survived by her loving husband and companion of 65 years, Al Jost; son, Ron Jost; daughter, Pam McGinnis; four grandchildren, Tim, Ryan, Julia, and Nick McGinnis; sisters, Shirley Gasparich and Diana Appleton; and survived by several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ed and June Williams, and her eldest son, Mike Jost.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 13, 2026, from 10–11 am at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL. Celebration of Life services will immediately follow from 11 am to 12 pm. No burial service.
