Paul A. Thessing

Paul A. Thessing, 78, of Freeburg, IL formally of St. Libory, IL born March 23, 1945, in Belleville, IL died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, at his home.
Paul was a retired maintenance mechanic from the Baldwin Power Plant.  He was a member of St. Liborius Catholic Church and IBEW Local 51.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alphonse H. And Frances Thessing Hundelt, nee Surmeier, stepfather, Urban H. Hundelt, and brother Richard Thessing.

Surviving are his brother, Daniel (Barb) Thessing of Venedy, IL, a sister, Ann Tweedy of St. Libory, IL; also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

VISITATION: From 9 to 11 AM Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023, at St. Liborius Catholic Church, St. Libory, IL.

FUNERAL: A funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023, at St. Liborius Catholic Church with Father Mark Stec celebrating.  Burial will follow in St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery, St. Libory, IL.
