Robert H Bergkoetter

Robert H. Bergkoetter, 86, of Fairview Heights, IL, born Oct. 13, 1939, in Lively Grove, IL., died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025, at his home.

 Robert was a retired chemical operator from Monsanto, a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fairview Heights, IL and a U. S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aloys and Frances, nee Behrmann, Bergkoetter, his wife, Doris, nee Millowshewski, Bergkoetter whom he married in Scheller, IL on Sept. 3, 1966, and who died Nov. 15, 2023, brother, Donald Bergkoetter, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and nephew.

Surviving are his children, Kimberly (Daniel) Gall of Fairview Heights, IL, Karla Kendrick (Robert Dennett) of O’Fallon, MO, Kevin (Carla) Bergkoetter of Lake St. Louis, MO, Kelli Bergkoetter of Fairview Heights, IL; seven grandchildren, Grant, Jacob and Karinna Gall, Clayton, Carter, Cole and Charles “Cash” Bergkoetter; siblings, Virgil Bergkoetter, Joan Schlangen, Dean (Dorothy) Bergkoetter, Richard Bergkoetter; and sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

FUNERAL: A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Carl Schrage celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery, Lively Grove, IL.
