Rosemary V. Lintker, nee Jansen, 90, of St. Libory, IL born Feb. 26, 1935, in St. Libory, IL died Friday, Jan. 2, 2026 at Cedar Trails Senior Living, Freeburg, IL.
Rosemary was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Liborius Catholic Church, St. Liborius CCW, the American Legion Auxiliary Post 683 in St. Libory, IL and longtime member of the St. Liborius Choir. She had a beautiful singing voice. She was a loving wife and mother. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her great joy. She loved tending her flower beds and gardening. She also enjoyed cooking at the American Legion Hall along with the companionship that came with it.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph A. and Rose B., nee Schmidt, Jansen, a son Bart, four brothers, Norbert (Marian), Edwin, Leroy, and Kenny Jansen, four sisters, Florence (Edward) Troesser, Eleanor (Edward) Parker, Elvira (Milton) Schaab, Dorothy Jansen; two sisters-in-law, Patty Jansen and Mary (Leonard) Luechtefeld, four brothers-in-law, Lawerence, Raphael (Irma), Victor Lintker, Don Otten.
She is survived by her husband, Andrew R. Lintker, whom she married in St. Liborius Catholic Church on Sept. 10, 1958; six sons, Steve (Patty) Lintker of St. Libory, IL, Thomas (Janet) Lintker of O’Fallon, IL, Dennis (Christine) Lintker of St. Libory, IL, Carl (Lisa) Lintker of St. Libory, IL, Kevin (Serena) Lintker of Edwardsville, IL, Ron (Laura) Lintker of New Athens, IL; 10 grandchildren, Christine (Beau) Barkau, Taylor (Garrett) Story, Alexis (Scott) Polczynski, Kendall (Noah) Frederking ,Noah (fiance Mollie) Lintker, Nathan, Clayton, Tyler, Isaiah, and Kylie Lintker; seven great grandchildren, Benton, Cruz, and Madden Barkau, Waylon and Wren Story, and Drew and Caz Polczynski; two brothers, Daniel (Bernie) Jansen, Roger Jansen; two sisters-in-law, Rita Otten and Virginia Jansen; a brother-in-law, Robert (LaVerne) Lintker, and numerous nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: From 4 to 8 PM Tuesday, January 6, 2026, and from 10 to 11 AM Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at St. Liborius Catholic Church, St. Libory, IL.
FUNERAL: A funeral Mass will be held 11 AM Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at St. Liborius Catholic Church with Father Paul Wienhoff celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery.
